About Me

Blessings to all that are viewing this.  My name is Christina Cruz-Mendez.  I am a Pastor at Mission United International Church in Yonkers, NY working along side my husband Juan A. Mendez Jr. Senior Pastor.  We have been together for 25 years with 2 beautiful children that God has blessed us with, Cassandra & Samuel. This makes us the family of four – “JusChrist4”.  I have been a Christian and active in ministry for about 17 years strong now. I am a professional working in the area of Human Resources since 2000 for a major university in New York City.

I love to travel, public speaking, coaching, organization, administration, music, reading and most importantly –writing. It is my outlet from all.

Through all the rocky and smooth roads in life I am eternally grateful that God has brought me this far in life to share with the world what He is doing in me, through me and for me. This is where I get most of inspiration and so I will share it with the world.

My heart is overflowing with a good theme;
I recite my composition concerning the King;
My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
Psalm 45:1img_4018-1

  1. From pampers to a Pastor. That’s how long I’ve known you. When I lost faith in myself and God – you came to visit me many years ago – and gave me my first bible. You said to me – “You need help. I’m giving you my sword. My bible”. I still have it. It has been a long and hard road but I finally found my way on the path back to the Kingdom of our glorious God. The last 2 years have made me a better person. A better daughter. And so much more in every aspect in my life. Thank you for never losing hope and faith in me.
