Renewing, Restoring and Rebuilding Lives; One day at a time so that we can RISE HIGHER to our full purpose.
Blessings to all that are viewing this. My name is Christina Cruz-Mendez. I am a Pastor at Mission United International Church in Yonkers, NY working along side my husband Juan A. Mendez Jr. Senior Pastor. We have been together for 28 years with 2 beautiful children that God has blessed us with, Cassandra & Samuel. This makes us the family of four – “JusChrist4”. I have been a faithful believer in God and active in ministry for over 20 years. I am a professional working in the area of Human Resources since 2000 in New York and completely enjoy this field.
I love to travel, public speaking, coaching, organization, administration, music, reading and most importantly –writing. It is my outlet from all.
Through this journey in life, I am eternally grateful that God has brought me this far to share with the world what He is doing in me, through me and for me. This is where I get most of inspiration and so I will share it with the world.
You are like a tree, planted by flowing, cool streams of water that never run dry. Your fruit ripens in its time; your leaves never fade or curl in the summer sun. No matter what you do, you prosper.
Psalm 1:3 VOICE Translation
From pampers to a Pastor. That’s how long I’ve known you. When I lost faith in myself and God – you came to visit me many years ago – and gave me my first bible. You said to me – “You need help. I’m giving you my sword. My bible”. I still have it. It has been a long and hard road but I finally found my way on the path back to the Kingdom of our glorious God. The last 2 years have made me a better person. A better daughter. And so much more in every aspect in my life. Thank you for never losing hope and faith in me.
