Prayer Partners

CONFLINE2Greetings all! I know I have not written in such a long time. If days have passed with no words, trust me, they have been super busy. But that is no excuse. Writing is my life.  Just been incorporating prayer in it a whole lot more. So I want to share what the Lord has done in just the past couple of weeks.

We have begun a corporate prayer partnership through a conference call line that began on Sunday August 21st.  I thought this was “my idea” something good, but then I see truly this was a GOD idea!  What came into my mind –Sunday before my husband Apostle Juan was leaving was the dial in. It just popped in my head and I quickly responded. I grabbed a bunch of business cards and wrote this number on the back of the cards  (605) 562-0020 Access Code: 398-094-146# with the time of 11pm – 12am.  Continue reading

Secret Place

Secret

1. done, made, or conducted without the knowledge of others.
2. kept from the knowledge of any but the initiated or privileged: “a secret password.”
3. faithful or cautious in keeping confidential matters confidential; close-mouthed; reticent.
4. designed or working to escape notice, knowledge, or observation.
5. secluded, sheltered, or withdrawn: “a secret hiding place.”
6. beyond ordinary human understanding; esoteric.

I have a place that is beyond human understanding, I don’t even know how I do it. He’s got me. I’m free to Him.

My plans–
Stay that way!

His plans–
Keep me there! Continue reading

We Live, We Learn, We Love

IMG_8375I didn’t think I had to apply this “70×7” rule so much in my life as I do now. This year has definitely been somewhat trying for me. I am living through the various and sudden changes. I am learning that I need to do things better and that ultimately I have to find a way to love more.

Peter came up to the Lord and asked, “How many times should I forgive someone who does something wrong to me? Is seven times enough?” Jesus answered:
Not just seven times, but seventy-seven times.”
Matthew 18:21-22 Contemporary English Version

I think we are always going to have adversity. Continue reading

Words Matter

image“But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra–what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.”
2 Timothy 3:10-11 New King James Version

I love the header on this passage as it states, “The Man of God and the Word of God!” How powerful that word is!

Words matter! His Word–most importantly and above all. These words are living and powerful. The same way that emotions are. I hate to be the one that sits in that puddle of sadness, disappointment, discouragement or the like, because it leaves you feeling so frustrated.

But perspective is key! Focus is necessary! Redirecting that disappointment to become the very appointment that you can have with God EVERY single time is the healing balm we need! I hate disappointment. But I love that this truly does become my appointment with God. Continue reading
