Blessings to all that are viewing this. My name is Christina Cruz-Mendez. I am a Senior Pastor at Mission United International Church in Yonkers, NY working along side my husband Juan A. Mendez Jr. Senior Pastor, currently residing in Canton, Georgia. We have been together for 29 years with 2 children that God has blessed us with. Makes us the family of four - "JusChrist4". I have been a Christian and active in ministry for about 22 years now. Through all the rocky and smooth roads in life I am eternally grateful that God has brought me this far in life to share with the world what He is doing in me, through me and for me.

We Are The Testimony

imageThere is nothing like being a child of the most high God! There is peace there.

Forgiveness.

Healing.

Love.

Victory!

When walls seem like they are closing all around, it is God sustaining and keeping us for the next BEST thing! Even though all this is occurring–there is a God that is bigger than our situation to carry us right on through and above it all. We shall soar like eagles. We shall do the victory dance. For not only do we have a testimony to shout from the rooftops but–We are the testimony! Continue reading

Off The Grid

imageMaybe blogging doesn’t have to be so long. I say too much most days. I do. Believe it or not, most days I want to be quiet. Say nothing, sit back and absorb. Today I wanted to drive. Til I couldn’t no more.

Windows open, no music.

Peaceful. Restful.

Serene.

A place that has no FaceTime or Facebook. No tweeting allowed. No Instagram. No Whats App. There is no hangouts. Messenger is completely disabled. No text messages, emails, phone calls, voice notes or voice mails. There’s no meetings, no strategic planning or major problems to solve. Continue reading

He Is For All

imageIt doesn’t matter if we are hispanic;
Black;
White;
Asian;
Indian;
Gay;
Straight;
Married;
Single;
Christian;
Catholic;
Baptist;
Fat;
Skinny;
Pretty;
Fair;
Or any other!
What matters is that God sent His one and only Son for ALL!

Our prayer is for nations! For peace! For love. For the safety of our children, families, our schools, places of work, churches and homes!

“For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:6-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Earthen Vessels

imageI loved having the opportunity to hear two dynamic messages yesterday. We can preach certainly, but to sit and hear other vessels like this… is simply amazing! Powerful! Impacting!

Iron sharpens iron again.
This message is by Senior Pastor Abbelane Rivera; Emmanuel International Ministries.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This servant shares:

You have to understand your design.

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

A lot of times we see only see the vessel and what we don’t see is the Architect.

The Architect sees the building that is happening. We see the rocks and the rubble. Here God makes a design of that vessel. We will say that the Architect is Jesus Christ. Continue reading
