A Whole New World

“Until the LORD has given your brethren rest, as He gave you, and they also have taken possession of the land which the LORD your God is giving them. Then you shall return to the land of your possession and enjoy it, which Moses the LORD’s servant gave you on this side of the Jordan toward the sunrise.””
‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1:15‬ ‭NKJV

You know that God wants us to enjoy things right? To enjoy life? Even to enjoy change?

Yet we fear it. Especially when it looks too good. Worry tries to rise up like we can’t obtain it. Like it can’t be ours.
But it can be because it is what He has given to us…

A land of your possession and enjoy it!

That is what is written. So much of myself struggles with the new. With the constant changes but it is the moment I can hear Him the most. “This is your new normal.” And I said OK to that. Trust is tough… it leads you to the treasure though and that could never be easy. There was work and investment involved. For when we get there, we have to enjoy it. That is why the rest comes first because it helps us to transition well.

I am going to enjoy this beautiful Christmastime… a whole new world once again. I have to be willing to step out in faith so that it drives out all the fear and complacency. It is the fear that tries to cripple me, criticize me and cancel out the dreams. The complacency that tries to assault and assassinate my hope.

I HAVE TO SHARE THIS ONE MORE TIME!

I am not going to be ruled by fear but faith. Everytime He brings me to a new place spiritually, physically and even times emotionally through a particular process –I have to trust the whole new world is in His hands! There is so much more, don’t kill it being complacent. Embrace the newness. Sieze the day. Possess the land –every single one I can tread upon. It is part of the promise.

Enjoy it.

Just enjoy it!

D E C E M B E R

It’s December! God has already done so much as we are just one day in and one day closer to the end of the year. We are getting ready for the reset of 2020. What a spoken word today! What a shared victory –it is tremendous! God is so good. It is an amazing season to be in and walk through with individuals that are ride or die no matter what.

“They they told him, and said;
‘We went to the land where you sent us.
It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit'”
Numbers 13:27

Today we went to a service in Paterson NJ –as a participation of ordination at Harvest Outreach Ministries with Apostle Edward Ramirez. I was so moved today. Mostly –of course, experiencing and witnessing my husband Apostle Juan Mendez in such a higher realm. And just basking in that word today for RESET.

Recovering
Everything
Satan
Ever
Took

How many years have gone by that we felt robbed? Shortchanged? Stuck? Complacent? Or at a constant loss? www.juschrist4.comYes I can attest that I felt like that the majority of my life. Until now. Here I am just enjoying the time that I am getting to spend with radical people that love Jesus in a radical way. Not only that but that they love us that way too! Can you believe it? We are grateful.

Some people last in your life for a lesson, a season or a lifetime. I need some lifetime folks in my life for sure. Those that fear God and understand the various callings and unique places that we all possess. Because together we can conquer so much more. It is where their victory becomes our victory and where our victory becomes their victory.

Where are the people that can set aside their agenda for connecting to kingdom purpose? Where are the people that can say now –in service and support I can sow that so I can grow that? Where does that even exist in a day and age where we are all so busy with our schedules, tasks and the many pressing priorities.

Here are some amazing people that decided to join us today for a day of ordination.  Here are some people that can carry the call with you in addition to what they carry within their own threshold. What a work! What an assignment! What a great place to be!

Here is what you can experience when you wait on God to bring those that you have been praying for all along.

So who is to say that the land flowing with milk and honey is beyond the things you can see in the natural.  It is not a physical place, a mental place or an emotional place.  It is a heavenly and spiritual place.  It is a realm that you tap into that is beyond what you have now. It is grasping onto the God who plants you right next to the visionaries and pioneers of the faith who will labor with you.  The ones that will share in the overwhelming victory beyond December!  The ones that point you right back to HIM too!

It’s big people of God! For when you may see littleness in big places and bigness in little places –you can pull out the fullness of the whole walk and purpose that God has for US!

Togetherness. Unity. Divine appointment. Shared success and shared victory. All these things are possible for us.  We will recover everything that satan has tried to take from us! We will recover nothing but VICTORY AFTER TREMENDOUS VICTORY! It is our time! OUR TIME! Let’s keep moving forward as a body of believers that can shake the nations for Jesus the way He wants us to.  We leave a mark this month! We leave a mark of victory.

Glory be to God –December is looking pretty great! ❤ This is it’s fruit. #numbers13

Amen and Amen

Prayers of Faith

The Prayer of Faith…

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.  Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit.
James 5:13-18 ESV

I find this packed Word that mentions prayer seven times in the book of James to be so cathartic in every way! It is what we need especially when we get stuck in that sluggish realm. We fall in these slumps where we don’t want to do the things that are the BEST for our soul.  We don’t want to eat right, we don’t always want to exercise, we don’t want to go to church, we don’t want to talk, we don’t want to read, we don’t want to pray, we don’t want to grow… the sluggish slumps where we NEED those prayers of faith!

I found myself so sluggish this week –women ya’ll just know why! I mean c’mon –it’s life –it’s what women have ta go through!

So I had to literally drag myself up and out of bed, drag myself to work, drag myself to the gym only twice this week :-/ and drag myself all around.  All I wanted to do was crawl up in a ball on the couch with my pup and blankie! But I have responsibilities.

And then I got there. The place that I was really supposed to be. At prayer! That is the most important thing that my soul needs. Those dynamic, heartfelt prayers of faith.  I laid on the ground. I felt myself slumping even further and then I heard the soft prayer for us. It was amazing. It was necessary. It was touching. It was real and it was just right.

I thanked God in that moment that I even got there by dragging myself.  As long as I just get there then everything will just fall into place, because it is not by these temporary and fleeting feelings.  What I need is… to do.  I need to ACT. I need to go. I need to keep moving ahead. I need those prayers because it changes EVERYTHING!

I laid there –thankful. ❤ Grateful that God is always making a way for me to get deeper into this faith walk even if I feel like I am drifting at times and not the bestest fiery soul.  I still love God.  I still love where I am at now.  Most importantly — I really REALLY love my church.

My Prayer of Faith:
Thank you God for calling me to be where I am in this season of my life. You have it all God.  You are with me in every step that I take. I know that I am surrounded by good things. I know that I am kept by Your saving strength. I am upheld by Your Word. Thank you for all those prayers of faith that are going straight to Your throne and back down to earth to move the mountains that need shifting. Especially the shifting that needs to happen in me! In Jesus Name…Amen!!! And AMEN!

With EVERYTHING

What will it take for us to go a little more deeper… a little more further… a little more innovative and creative?

There was a young man in the bible that was taken away in exile and during his dark season produced the most excellent character and works.  He took his situation and didn’t count it as a loss but made it an opportunity for him to be tested for GREATNESS.

He knew who he was and WHOSE he belonged too –even in an adverse situation that was against all hope.  He wasn’t free–he was held captive –a prisoner. But all through that he lived a more excellent way.  He tested those that came before him to TEST him.  So that the true royalty upon his life would be in complete demonstration and manifestation.

What are you manifesting in your moments of captivity?

What are you demonstrating in the dark seasons of your life?

What are excelling in when it feels like you have been imprisoned?

Are you willing to give MORE? Are you willing to do things with EVERYTHING that you know that you have to give! That is what you call EXCELLENT. Dictionary.com says that to be excellent is possessing outstanding quality or superior merit; remarkably good. It means that it is above average, above the norm.

What will it cost you to give it all? What will it cost you to give one more step or one more push to EXCEL?

The Bible says in Daniel Chapter 1:6-19

Among those who were chosen were some from Judah: Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah.  The Chief official gave them new names: to Daniel, the name Belshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abednego.  But Daniel resolved not to define himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way.  Now God had caused the official to show favor and compassion to Daniel, but the official told Daniel, “I am afraid of my lord the king, who has assigned your food and drink.  Why should he see you looking worse than the other young men your age? The king would then have my head because of you.” Daniel then said to the guard whom the chief official had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, “Please TEST your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink.  Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see.” So he AGREED to this and TESTED then for ten days.  At the end of the ten days they looked HEALTHIER and BETTER nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food.  So the guard took away their choice food and the wine they were to drink and gave them vegetables instead.  To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning.  And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds. At the end of the time set by the king to bring them into his service, the chief official presented them to Nebuchadnezzar.  The king talked with them, and he found NONE EQUAL to Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; so they entered the king’s service.

You have to understand that in the TEST you have to DO! And not just a little, an effort, a move, a task here or there but you have to give your all! It’s all in.  All or nothing. Understanding what the will of the Lord is and carrying out to fulfillment for the rest.

Even then in the very beginning of the test, we see that God was an advocate for Daniel because he was DIFFERENT.  He had a relationship with God.  He had the favor of God.  Daniel didn’t wait to be told to do something, he acted out and took a step of faith.  He took a step of excellence.

Look at the results of their excellence.  There was none found equal to these men.  That means they were OUTSTANDING… it means that they were excellent. They were promoted from the kings prison to the kings palace.

What can we do in our level of service to God, to our families, at our jobs, at church or any place that we volunteer to help. Can we be the BEST? Can we give the best? What can do to take a step further? Can we give all that we have to obtain the goal of a united community and environment of collaboration? This is what God wants us to do. The result is good. The result is favor. The result is that even when it is tough, dark or difficult that God will be the advocate for you to make you stand out among the rest.

Promotion is knocking on your door.  Favor is chasing you down. Transition is coming your way.  Good things are in store for you and your family.  Transformation is inevitable.  The harvest is here. All we have to do is give it our best and nothing less. Because less than that –is simply not excellent.

We can just be one step away from excellence. One day, one touch, one word, one moment, one opportunity, one act of faith –to say, “Test your servant!”

With everything.

Innovate. Create. Lead with diligence and excellence, so that you can walk in the harvest God designated for you.

With Love,
Christina ❤
