Trash To Treasure

He brought me out into a SPACIOUS place, He rescued me because He delighted in me.

What a God that we serve! He took us from trash to TREASURE! When we thought we didn’t matter. When we felt abandoned. When we felt denied. When we felt refused. When we felt forgotten. When we felt ashamed. When we felt disgusted. When we felt we had NO value… God saw a TREASURE inside of us that He needed to bring to the light!

In this spacious place, now there is plenty of room for God to move! You are no longer pinned on every side.

One Morsel

imageI feel the need to NOT follow a trend. Like I have never been the person to do something just because everyone else is doing it. This is probably why I have never fit in with certain crowds. I was more of the odd ball in the batch. But I learned to find purpose by other means. Red Cup Thanks

imageI love this red cup at Starbucks! It is my favorite color, so I don’t care what is written on it, I just love the color in general. RED! So much to be thankful for and what that color symbolizes. When many are fussing over the most meaningless issues, let’s give thanks for so much more.

I proudly picked up my cup today on my way to celebrate 15 years of service at my job in the area of Human Resources. It has been a journey.  My husband and I also cerebrated our 2nd year as lead pastors for our church. Both humbling experiences. Every week, we find a new reason to celebrate…this is the season we are in and my red cup is running over and filled with a lot of thanks! Continue reading
