The Year of WOW

image
“Who is like you among the gods, O Lord

    glorious in holiness,
awesome in splendor,
    performing great wonders?”
Exodus 15:11 NLT

We had an amazing celebration coming into 2016. I could already see this year is starting out in utter amazement. I am getting great news and not only of myself but for others. In seeing their happiness I am rejoicing more. For so many tears that were shed, times of anguish, frustration and pure pain. Now it is time of seeing their genuine smiles and it is absolutely beautiful. Their laughter is contagious and their joy is inexpressible!

This is the year of WOW!

Happy New Year to all…may this year be one of acceleration, abundance and anointing poured out upon you and your family.

Sincerely,
Christina

The first day of the year I took to rest and recuperate, even though my daughter dragged me out to the gym as I was a bit congested. Then my hubby pushed me out to a Christian game night. Good way to start the year in doing new things. The first Sunday service of the year was filled with the sweet presence of God. And a powerful sermon of the Issachar Anointing! This is the year that God is going to top things off! We have to keep pressing and there comes blessings that overtake us. It is like a celebration streak!

That is wonderful. Something to WOW about like the precious promises in Deuteronomy 28, which we must not forget!

“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God:”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭28:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Overtake is to catch up with in traveling or pursuit; draw even with; to catch up with and pass, as in a race; move by; to move ahead of in achievement, production, score, etc.; surpass; to happen to or befall someone suddenly or unexpectedly.

This is how the bible declares that the blessing will fall upon us. It should happen suddenly–when we least expect and when we follow after the ways of God. The blessing will catch up with us. The blessing will move ahead of us and make room for us to live a life of victory. This is what we have been praying for.

In the New International Version the bible specifies clearly… IF YOU FULLY OBEY and carefully follow out the commands of the Lord… you will reap what you sow. Now we are living in that moment where we see the fruit of that. For sowing what is right He blesses us with the WOW! He shows us wondrous things!

Blessings for Obedience
If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God:
You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed. You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven. The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him. Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will fear you. The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you. The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them. Deuteronomy 28:1-14 New International Version

This is the year of blessing. We speak it, confess it, declare it and proclaim it all day long. We wake with a mindset that will say, “I am blessed!” What God has for us is GOOD! This is the time for us to focus on that promise. For many times, yes we have experienced that fierce attack when we also do not keep ourselves aligned with the promises of God. The enemy is more focused on our promise than we are! And as believers this should not continue to be the case where we keep focused on our problem. We must focus on the promise.

Deuteronomy 28 outlines that for us. We shall be blessed in the city and blessed in the field. We shall be blessed going in and blessed coming out. Blessed shall be the fruit of our womb for we shall also see that on our children! This is our promise from God.

For 2016-the Year of WOW! God will do it! In the midst of any trouble, chaos or challenges, He will pull us through all of that with victory and we will be BLESSED!!!

Happy Twenty Sixteen! This is going to be an amazing year that I declare.
In His Name.

AMEN
