This was very touching! I think one thing I keep noting is that words are so powerful. We can use them to tear down or to BUILD up! I am grateful to experience and be a part of the lives of many other people… most importantly WOMEN! I will share that many years ago God told me through a still small voice… yet it was so clear, “I am going to use you to raise up many women!” I just didn’t know that I would FALL DOWN so badly in order to tell others HOW to get back up!
The greatest thing I think that I have learned is that as I use all of my faith to walk in a new life, my purpose is to BRING others with me so that we do this TOGETHER! I don’t believe that anybody has to remain in some isolation. There’s a difference between being alone and a difference between being isolated. If I am believing so strongly in this rebuilt life, I am going to use all the warrior women to help me too!!! I am not blind, ignorant or dulled by the schemes of the enemy! We need each other. We may not be able to be with each other every single moment of the day but we are able to come to that place where we can spar together!
As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens [and influences] another [through discussion].
Proverbs 27:17 Amplified Bible
We do that at MUI! We do that on any level. Maybe you are seeking friends… but God is calling you to find BROTHERS and SISTERS in Christ! That is different. Because with family it doesn’t matter how many differences there may be, we still find a way to always come back and stay strong together.
Thank you for these words. I see the same words that God used over of my life. They pierce my soul STILL! And that is what we need. We are being flooded with gifts, cash, candy, clothing and more! The cards and creativity are sweet. Words to inspire. I just love to read the words of appreciation as I share most of my own. It lets me know that as I try to help, it is definitely not in vain… the words and example set is surely being RETAINED!
Let truth be your shield and buckler. Our psalms to live by.
Love my brothers and sisters in Christ!
