“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
Psalm 51:10 NIV
When we allow so many things that try to distract, discourage or detour us we quickly need to go to the word!
Tonight’s teaching was amazing by Pastor Juan Mendez at MUI Church for Ignite Bible Study. May we know the truth by looking to the simplicity of this message.
How swayed that people are by words. It can make us sad, afraid, lonely, different, isolated and dismayed. This is not a time to lose focus but to keep moving FORWARD!!!
I can only pray more now….
May my words be pure words God.
May my heart be pure love God.
May my mind be pure thoughts God.
I can’t allow the frivolous feeds to derail me. Competition is rising. Appearance is rising. Product is rising. But let PURE HEARTS FILLED WITH FAITH rise up in this season we are in.
May my heart continue to be brought before you season after season as PURE. Away and away from the feeds, the noise, the doubt and negativity.
There is so much more we can listen to and engage ourselves in that will lead us through the purest seasons. We can do this is an excellent way.
Anything that we read in the Bible we need to listen to and by faith live it out. If the Bible says, “Do not worry about anything, but to pray about everything…” in Philippians 4:6, then living by faith we would take the worries to God and pray about them and trust Him to help us through them.
Here are some great notes…
👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
- WORRY LOOKS AROUND!
- REGRET LOOKS BACK!!
- FAITH LOOKS FORWARD!!!
Faith doesn’t make things easy, it makes them possible.
We cannot dig up in DOUBT what we have planted in FAITH.

So our focus now is to keep our faith, our hearts and our minds PURE before Him. Christianity is not competitive… it is collaborative.
God is doing the work. He is taking us through this season to EXCEL! He is going to move so powerfully at work in us because WE NEED IT!!!
Keep, keep FOCUSED!!!! It is not just about us but about the overall call to get our hearts aligned with His. God help us all. Help me. Help them. May we pass through a pure season so that we can collide with divine destiny that is absent of our personal agenda.
There is a prayer for pure seasons. I am going to follow that prompt. He will hear those that cry out. As this writing begins with Psalm 51, it will also close with it.
“My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.”
Psalm 51:17 NIV
