WIN

Success
What’s on your mind?

I been getting up a few nights again and this typically happens when my mind is on overload. I could barely sleep and then my head starts to pound relentlessly!

I am like God show me a BETTER way! Give me a WIN!

  • to finish first in a race, contest, or the like.
  • to succeed by striving or effort.
  • to succeed in reaching (a place, condition, etc.), especially by great effort.
  • to get by effort, as through labor, competition, or conquest.

Sometimes you feel the day to day stress and it becomes so overwhelming.  You become so exhausted.  When you are mentally bombarded, you become physically and emotionally weary.  In this case, I even felt this spiritually and I needed to sit back.

I have to pray, meditate, reflect, organize my thoughts –and in most cases for me it is to take the time to read and write the most relevant material in this moment.

What are the mistakes? What am I learning? What can I do better? Who can I share this with and ask for their expertise? Those are things that come with my own self analysis.  It’s mandatory! It’s paramount! There are no exceptions to this in order for me to progress.

This is how I get in a win! I make small steps, bit by bit, chance by chance, opportunity by opportunity and moment by moment.  I try it again. Eventually something has got to give. And that’s just what I do.  I want things to be better.  I want my approach to be better. I want my attitude to be better.  I got to try harder.  Pray deeply and richly –finding that best way to bring Him into my mental space and help me situate this stuff.

Then after I compose myself and try again.  A simple yet successful recipe.  Then came the win.  I would not experience the joy that I do, if I didn’t get to really feel the loss.

This is what brings me back up. These small steps can lead to some really big inner wins.  When you win on the inside — you set yourself up for the win on the outside!

“Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me.
For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.”
Matthew 11:28-30 TPT

“Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you.”
1 Peter 5:7 TPT

So take care of yourself –give it to God.  Try again on the next run and see if you get that win in.  Every time you get in with God –its always a WIN–WIN!

With love,
Christina
