Blessings to all that are viewing this. My name is Christina Cruz-Mendez. I am currently residing in Canton, Georgia. Married 34 years with 2 children that God has blessed us with. Makes us the family of four - "JusChrist4". I have been a Christian and active in ministry for about 26 years. Through all the rocky and smooth roads in life I am eternally grateful that God has brought me this far in life to share with the world what He is doing in me, through me and for me.

All The Do’s and Don’ts

imageWouldn’t it be nice if we had a sign like this on us to advise certain folks in our lives. But ours would read something like this:

“DO NO USE!
I AM OUT OF SERVICE!
God is aware of my situation and making the necessary repairs and I will be available as soon as possible. We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.”

They shall mount up with Wings Like Eagles,

“But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail. And when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”
Luke 22:32

It is almost as if he had to go through that denial in his walk in order to really understand the depth of God’s word. He told Peter, “YOU WILL DENY ME three times.”

How deep is that, and what a complete inner condemnation and conviction one could feel. Not when they have messed up once in life but repeatedly. Not once, not twice but THREE times! Yet this was a place for Peter that in this breakdown he would reach an ultimate build up for himself. What a way to bounce back from a failure. This is where he would have a true repentant heart that said to God, “YES, now I will feed Your sheep because I know.” Continue reading

Hurricanes

imageReporters in the news are saying that three years ago Hurricane Sandy really shook us up here in New York City and even beyond that. I remember that time really well. Power outages, a boat load of rain and business closings. We couldn’t even go to work. We stood home protected as we were all plugged into the TV watching the news for moment to moment updates. It was really frightening to even go outside because the winds and rain were so heavy. I am so thankful that season is over, even though we have to be on guard for any other storms that could arrive. We learn how to prepare and move through those inevitable catastrophic events. It just happens. Continue reading
