Total Transformation

“For God may speak in one way, or in another,
Yet man does not perceive it.”
Job 33:14

God speaks in so many ways.

Through His Word.

Through music.

Through prayer.

Through people.

Through places.

Through preaching.

Through situations.

There are so many ways that He speaks. Do we perceive it? Are we sharp enough to hear that ‘still small voice’ or even through ‘roaring thunder’. God spoke and God still speaks. God is consistently speaking to His people. Again, are we listening? He wants the total transformation in us, so in order for that to happen, He has to speak a lot. Continue reading

Prince of Peace

PrinceOfPeaceAs a writer God has given me words of depth, boldness, precision and transparency. When I needed my breakthrough, I wrote. When I had to pour out, I wrote. Whenever I feel that unction…I write. So many words that come to my mind and so I wish I could explain more. Sometimes I wonder even if the words are really understood the way that I know them. Words tied to my soul. Every word released with such weight.

My heart is overflowing with a good theme;
I recite my composition concerning the King;
My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
Psalm 45:1

But as I listened to this song today for the first time, I could say these can be the most profound words that adequately describe my situation. Very much heartfelt lyrics and to the core of me. These make for such deep silent prayers that are recorded in heaven. God is watching down on us to bring us in sync. For a world divided, shattered lives and a fight to stay alive. This is the time we live in, yet with God giving us His Son (the Prince of Peace) we are able to endure it all valiantly and triumphantly.   Continue reading

The VIP

VIPDo you know how awesome it is to be a VIP or have VIP privileges? This is a great feeling! This means you are first for almost everything.

This automatically puts you in an elite status. This makes you a Very Important Person. This gives you exclusive access that others don’t have. Entrance, special permission and rights to a place or thing.

Wikipedia states, “A very important person (VIP) is a person who is accorded special privileges due to his or her status or importance. Examples include celebrities, heads of state or heads of government, other politicians, major employers, high rollers, high-level corporate officers, wealthy individuals, or any other notable person who receives special treatment for any reason. The special treatment usually involves separation from common people, and a higher level of comfort or service. In some cases such as with tickets, VIP may be used as a title in a similar way to premium. These “VIP tickets” can be purchased by anyone, but still meaning separation from other customers, own security checks etc. Continue reading

Get in Agreement

can-twoThat’s the mystery… How can two agree? Who likes to argue? How can we get in agreement as the Word says in Amos 3:3, “Can two walk together unless they are agreed?”

An agreement is the act of agreeing or of coming to a mutual arrangement; the state of being in accord; harmony or accordance in opinion or feeling; a position or result of agreeing; the absence of incompatibility between two things; consistency.

I am certainly not an expert but I can look to the scriptures for guidance on how important is the power of unity for us all. Else, there really is no way that one, two or more can walk in a concordant peace. Continue reading
