Just For You – TOOTS

2015-04-06-21-24-13Just because I want you to know how important that you are to me. I probably didn’t even express this ENOUGH.  You are one of the FIRST people that I shared my story with that looked at me with such LOVING eyes. Your eyes didn’t even blink a second of scorn, shame or judgement. You hugged me, cried with me and UNDERSTOOD me.

Am I higher than you or vice versa – no. We are equal. We are certainly not “friends.”
I know you understand that.  WE ARE SISTERS! I think one of the things I loved about you immediately was your liberty to express how you were in every season.  I heard a weeping in the back on a prayer night service one day. It was you. You were hurting. Crying. In agony and pain.  BUT –you were praying. I was touched. I could only say that I FELT your pain. Just like you felt mine. It is now that I can appreciate and recognize that even more.  We are women. Powerful women of God. Yes, in Him we are all things. Continue reading

I remember the prophet Joseph Samuel speaking over my life, “You are going to be so busy for the kingdom of God!” And yet none of those words have fallen to the ground.
All true.
All worthy.
All right with me. Continue reading

He Knows What Is Best

2016-10-08-13-19-42The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel?
Fill your horn with oil and be on your way;
I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem.
I have chosen one of his sons to be king.”
1 Samuel 16:1 NIV

It seems as if God is always teaching us valuable lessons throughout life. He is God. He is good. He is sovereign.

God is always concerned about us following instructions.

Are the detailed? Yes! As detailed as they need to be to get you from point to point.

He first selects a king because the people cried out for one. Only to see that he would utterly fail God. How? By not following instructions.

He knows what is best. Continue reading
