I was sharing yesterday at our bible study the statistics of Christians time spent on reading the word, and so I will share that here. In today’s busy society, we spend more time on the social networks and other things rather than spending the time reading more of the Word of God. We quickly see the results of that.
People want inspiration from quoted images rather than looking to the Word of God–that’s truth. That’s everlasting. That has the depth that we need to impact lives, not a picture quote from Instagram. That won’t break the chains and the yokes of bondage the way that the Word of God will! Continue reading
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
