Change is Coming
NO GPS
Have you ever had to take off somewhere because of a necessary appointment or place to be and had an idea of where you were going but still had to continue with NO GPS?!?
Just keep going straight.
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.”
Psalms 32:8 NKJV
It is an eerie and uncomfortable feeling to travel to a place and not have specific instructions or a guide. We always want specifics and that we could have. Yet sometimes in our journey with the Lord, the call to the place is the one thing that is clear and everything else in between [the detail] is just not really provided. Continue reading
Joy Inexpressible
A happiness at my own expense is just not going to cut it. The happiness I must seek is one given to me by God. The joy inexpressible He speaks of that is found in God’s living word! I found it in Him. During those summer days by the ocean, as He carried me from a dark place into one of freedom, victory and new life.
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith–the salvation of your souls.
1 Peter 1:6-9
Have You Tried Fasting?
There could be particular situations that arise in our lives that hold more of an intensity and demand for attention. In Matthew 17, we read how the disciples questioned Jesus about seeing the miraculous.
Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”
So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”
Matthew 19:20-21
