All The Do’s and Don’ts

imageWouldn’t it be nice if we had a sign like this on us to advise certain folks in our lives. But ours would read something like this:

“DO NO USE!
I AM OUT OF SERVICE!
God is aware of my situation and making the necessary repairs and I will be available as soon as possible. We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.”

As the bible shares with us not to conform to the things of this world, since we have come over to Christ we are in a process of renewal. And there are plenty of “do’s and don’ts” to help us succeed in this effort. Continue reading


A Source For Others

“But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail. And when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.”
Luke 22:32

It is almost as if he had to go through that denial in his walk in order to really understand the depth of God’s word. He told Peter, “YOU WILL DENY ME three times.”

How deep is that, and what a complete inner condemnation and conviction one could feel. Not when they have messed up once in life but repeatedly. Not once, not twice but THREE times! Yet this was a place for Peter that in this breakdown he would reach an ultimate build up for himself. What a way to bounce back from a failure. This is where he would have a true repentant heart that said to God, “YES, now I will feed Your sheep because I know.” Continue reading

“The MOMENT vs. MANDATE”

Dictionary.com defines MANDATE as the following: A command or authorization to act in a particular way on a public issue given by the electorate to its representative

A Kingdom General

IMG_1836I was standing in front of this young man leading worship this weekend at our “Kingdom Generals” annual retreat and conference center and just stood amazed. I thought to myself, “THIS–IS–A–KINGDOM–GENERAL!” For he did not allow his circumstance to stop him from doing just what God called him to do…lead a body of generals in the front line through worship! This was the sound of an army! Waging war and roaring with the sound of heaven humming through our entire beings!  Continue reading
