So much is going on at once… it’s tough. Home, kids, church, work, plans, issues, social, apps, text, inbox, emails, phone calls, voice mails, questions, meetings, appointments, activities, events, holidays, shopping, cooking, laundry, cleaning, packing and many other multi-tasking items. The list goes on…
It is hard keeping up and we only have 24 hours in a day! I know especially since coming back from such a HUGE supernatural spiritual experience, to be in the “natural” place of reality is challenging. The struggle is real! And it is everywhere and everyday.
It is just so hard to keep up.
I can tell you this, the devil is MAD!
In the midst of all of this, we are also in the middle of TRANSITION.
With any transition, things get shaky and everyone feels it. And there will be major decisions that must be made in order to reach new territory. We can also become afraid of change. Not sure what to expect or what to do when we cross over. Yet, I can only refer to the scriptures that guide us with this type of scenario.
CHANGE IS NECESSARY!
CHANGE IS INEVITABLE!
Just like the temperature is quickly fluctuating here, so shall that be for us and we have to keep stronger than ever. Is that hard yes, but possible. We all have different lives, jobs, relationships, situations BUT we have the same 24 hours a day, the same God and the same spiritual tools available in order to keep a balanced structure!
The momentum can’t stop. We have to keep going. The days will get tough. Threats, choices, temptations, hate, battles, war-zones—all of that will be present among us but we SHALL PREVAIL. When the temperature DROPS we have to be willing to STAND right through it!
“Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”
Matthew 13:18-23
The enemy is working to SNATCH away the word, the fire, the experience that was sown in your heart for GOOD! Much like the Kingdom Generals weekend or any great spiritual experience you have—he works fast to SNATCH! But PRAY FOR THE ENCOUNTER that goes beyond just an experience! Pray to keep that fire burning NO MATTER WHAT stage of the game you find yourself in.
IT IS NOT GOING TO BE EASY! YES I WILL KEEP REPEATING THAT TO REMIND MYSELF AND OTHERS OF THE PROCESS WE HAVE AHEAD!
But the PROMISE is there too! Get to THAT! That is key! That is essential. Stand fast. Stand strong. Don’t stay discouraged. Don’t become complacent. Keep pressing ahead. I urge you…that is why the apostle Paul kept writing FROM A PRISON cell!
I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me. God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus. And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:3-11
Paul kept on encouraging others…despite his extreme and difficult situation.
Be ambassadors! High ranking servants!
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
2 Corinthians 5:20
Don’t let situations move you, the temperature, varied emotions or any such thing. Let the Spirit of the Lord continue to move and propel you into your full purpose! Be that ambassador for CHRIST! And walk with other ambassadors so that you have a stronger chance during your journey. Because isolation will be the first thing that the enemy of our soul will want to do during these changes. Don’t fall prey to any of the enemies tactics! Contend for the faith! Fight through the temperature changes. So that you stand through every season of life as more than a conqueror.
Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.
