I was standing in front of this young man leading worship this weekend at our “Kingdom Generals” annual retreat and conference center and just stood amazed. I thought to myself, “THIS–IS–A–KINGDOM–GENERAL!” For he did not allow his circumstance to stop him from doing just what God called him to do…lead a body of generals in the front line through worship! This was the sound of an army! Waging war and roaring with the sound of heaven humming through our entire beings!
This was an undeniable praise! An unbreakable situation! An unbelievable place of worship! And an atmosphere so intense that it shook the entire camp ground! God heard His generals this weekend, but truly indeed…He heard the one of this youth in the chair!
You know for many little day to day things that happen to us, we allow it to take us off course. We make it CHANGE our purpose, position and place! But this young man set an example for the rest including myself. I just stood with uncontrollable tears streaming down my face. He did it. I did it. These people here did it! We made it to the mountain, despite all the obstacles that came our way. Despite all the hindrances that were trying to keep us from this place. Despite all the challenges that were beating down our face.
We all pressed for the goal here this weekend. And I know there is more to come. Just what was done here is something that we must do always! And we can do that with God on our side and a heart set ablaze and anchored in His word. No matter what the outcome; no matter the situation; we just have to get to the place that God calls us to EVERY time! That is what the general does. They don’t take a break, they don’t rest much, they ARE hurting, they ARE wounded, they DO have a tough time going through all these tasks…they do it! And not only do they have to do it for themselves they have to carry and take others! Those are the true generals. They are willing to get their hands dirty repeatedly for the work of the Lord.
Just as I shared on my social media pages, I will do so on this site because I would like to give honor to whom honor is due as the bible declares in Romans 13:7. We recognize God as our source! So He will always get the glory for moving upon young men like this, that responded to the calling upon their lives and decided to be a part of a major spiritual milestone for our generation at Mission United International Church.
I would like to give recognition to the powerful young men of BIC Ministries! WHAT an inspiration! What vehement passion and zeal! I was so thankful to not only host a God led event but to partake with a group of passionate worshipers that were truly LED by the Spirit! Abiesel Rivera, what can I say but WOW! You are a true young general!!! No wounds will ever stop you from doing what God called YOU TO DO!!! Rois Rivera, you blew the house down with a voice of a LION!!!! I was in awe! I want those spontaneous lyrics and we will be calling you back to lead and impart for a worship conference!!! Luis Babo Rivera, for every strike on that drum you led an ARMY with not only a SOUND but you gave us a united HEARTBEAT to worship God in spirit… Praise Jesus for God will lead you further as a beating sound for MANY things to MOVE, SHIFT and CREATE!!! Nehemias Rodriguez, WHAT can I say but that you really have a love for God’s work in music ministry… you are beyond a levite and one to keep together a family of worshipers… the keys you play are the KEYS to unlock doors in a spiritual realm before the presence of God… I am thankful that all FOUR responded to this. Just like the book of Ezekiel and Revelation share, you men are THAT four! The Man, Lion, OX and the Eagle!
Wow…. God be glorified for this! We are grateful. This was an unforgettable experience and movement for our church. This needed to happen. Now we move forward with a heavy vision, mission and united purpose…to continue to bring together our KINGDOM GENERALS!!! We are taking the city back for God. We will never forget what took place this weekend.
When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the men gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so everyone charged straight in, and they took the city.
