That is my today as I know that I am currently on a journey…my own journey and lifetime walk with the Lord. This takes work, courage, tremendous strength and effort.
I preach a new sermon, a real sermon, a now sermon, a sermon of and for today. It is my life. Because I live this every day and people would never think so. Our battle is constant and ongoing.
David was a mighty warrior. Why didn’t they want to follow a king like Saul?
Cause Saul wasn’t a fighter. He was just a man with a title.
I thank God for all the many writers that are freely sharing and being led by the Spirit to encourage others who may be experiencing an emotional mess. I would have to say that would be me on my worst days. Today I woke up missing a thing… It makes me sad. I did some research to see if “miss” was tied to emotions and it kind of is because it means “absence, loss & want”. This would translate to the feeling of sadness, anguish or even pain. For me that runs deep when I have to give up the one thing I miss the most. I feel the absence of that EVERY DAY and it hurts! It hurts me a lot. I try to remind myself of all the good things that I have going for me but that one lil thing was so impactful that it certainly puts a dent and I can feel it. My emotions go off the wall and then I find myself in a place where I think I am weak again. Continue reading
Some things that came into my mind when I woke and I will share. May you be blessed and have an amazing weekend. Do not let this Valentine’s weekend disturb you. There are many sisters in Christ that are rejoicing over a new found love with their God that is not about chocolates but about an unending and unfailing love that God has with us! HE IS MORE THAN IN LOVE WITH ALL OF YOU BECAUSE HE CREATED YOU! HE IS LOVE….
The enemy compliments your flaws, weaknesses and pursues that. A man will satisfy your need momentarily where the Son of man will satisfy your need eternally! Don’t focus on the one thing – on what is wrong. Think about all the things that are RIGHT! Set a goal for yourself… “I am not going to focus at what is wrong but I am going to focus on all the good things.”
We have this tendency to keep going back to what God set us apart from!!! We revisit it… continue to inhabit when God wants us FREE, separated unto God and set apart. Continue reading
