Free To Give

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

For the glory of God, we were able to distribute over 100+ turkeys and bags of food to our local community in Yonkers. I emphasize profusely, To God Be The Glory For Making ALL things possible!!! A special thanks goes out to all the MUI workers in the house. Those that readily came to contribute and support this event. We had such a large team of people willing to help, hand out food and minister to the people. What a tremendous outcome!

Many of our new members also came to support and help minister and move this along… like they say, “Team Work Definitely Makes the Dream Work!!!”  They were so WILLING to help–it was just a beautiful thing to witness and be a part of. We all partook of this moment and felt the move of God funnel through our hearts. It is moments like these where you learn a deeper concept of giving! God set us apart so that we are also “Free to Give!”

Our members entered the church quickly during this mad rush and said, “Tell me how can I help!” And they did. We waited for the vehicle to arrive with the turkeys and prepared all the food items in the interim. To all those that prefer to be nameless – WOW, we HONOR you and recognize all that you have sown and contributed to make this happen. God used you as a vessel and one that IMPACTED us and many others!

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18

When these families sit down at their table –they will be even more so thankful and so will we, as we remember this moment that we were able to give. We will have come to know that thanksgiving means the act of giving thanks; grateful acknowledgment of benefits or favors, especially to God; an expression of thanks, especially to God; a public celebration in acknowledgment of divine favor or kindness.

Thank you for supporting financially.
Thank you for helping to coordinate.
Thank you for moving this event.
Thank you for extending smiles and hugs.
Thank you for spreading the GOOD NEWS!!

To me, this is what church is all about. Feeding families spiritually, physically and wholeheartedly.  We rejoiced in the unity. We rejoiced with this team. We are so grateful. For you have all be set free to GIVE! ❤
