Own Up to Build Up

imageThere comes a time in life when you have to stop blaming others and own up to the things that you did to you. But worry not my friend, just go to God to heal all that. For the brokenness in life is much of what we have caused and allowed to happen. And God is in the business of fixing! Always!

So stop the blame game, own up to it, take responsibility for your actions… Take the focus off of what everyone else did wrong and recognize what you did wrong.
There in itself is your healing and restoration. That is what I recognized this year and not by self, but it was God that had to intervene and say “WAIT! I have to wreck these plans of hers before they wreck HER! For my ways are higher, My thoughts are higher… And I know that the plans that I have for her are RIGHT!”

God gives you a new heart… He opens your eyes to see all that when you are in His presence. He removes the heart of stone and starts to chisel away at all the debris that was left by that broken down chaos of a mess!
It is when YOU cost too much!
You became TOO expensive!
And now you are humbled and in a place that says to God…
I will receive what YOU give me!
I will come down from the mountain that I myself climbed up and start from a place that now leads to You!

That’s the rebuilt story.

And I don’t need anything else.
I want a lot of things in life, YES!
But what I need is what I will get. I had to learn all this too and I am still learning! For what God gives is always PERFECT!

Don’t set your eyes on what you think is the seal of perfection… For that is only deception (Ezekiel 28:12).

Give God that heart! Allow Him to do the work in you! We keep crying, fussing and complaining when God is just waiting for us to surrender ALL! Then He leads you through that call. Let Him remove that heart of stone!

“I will give you a NEW heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.”
Ezekiel 36:26

Now you can live again, love again and laugh again with the joy of the Lord as your strength. He becomes your world, your hope, your trust, your rock, your fortress and your everything! He is perfect! Proven! Flawless in all His ways! He is the Alpha and the Omega. He is the Prince of peace, the wonderful Counselor and everlasting Redeemer! He is marvelous, mighty and allpowerful! He will NEVER steer you wrong. We do all that! We turn to everything else that is not correct but when God intervenes…. It is the best thing! He rescues us!!!

“He brought me out into a spacious place;
He rescued me because He delighted in me!”
Psalm 18:19

God saved you!
He is always in the saving business!
He helps, the enemy discourages!
He fixes, the enemy destroys!
He gives grace, the enemy brings shame!

Take the best plan and OPT OUT of enemy hell territory already! All this will only consume you and bring you to that place of complete destruction.

God has a spacious and blessed place for you to flourish! He will always make provision. He will keep your lamp burning. He will always keep you settled in peace. When you don’t feel that peace then seek the Prince of peace… There you will always find it.

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.”
Isaiah 26:3

What a beautiful promise. We must be steadfast, where we are fixed in direction, firm in the purpose of God and unwavering. We need to be FULLY convinced that God has a much better way than we do.

Friends… our “pursuit of happiness” is always going to be found when we let go of all the weight and find our anchored place in Him.

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28

So go to HIM! Pray for real… In your private place. Read the word where you won’t get distracted or sidetracked. Don’t go to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram for quotes and inspiration… Or to use that as an avenue to VENT! That is not a platform for unkind remarks and raw feelings. That is when it becomes your own social destruction! Further pushing the world away. But go to the place where PEACE is found, where words NEVER fail and where hope is birthed….

“Holding on to FAITH and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered with regard to the faith.”
1 Timothy 1:19

Don’t let that be you… Suffering this season with a shipwrecked faith! Stop being so mad and angry at the world. Bitter and not better. Crying and then crazy. Pick yourself up! Take accountability! Put yourself in the hands of the Miracle Maker and watch Him do that redemptive work in you! This is where all will work together for good. With truth, integrity and love. End this year better than it began.

No one is at war with you the way that you can be with yourself! Stop that war within! God has got a better way for you…choose that. Every day you and I have the ability to make right choices. We own up to build up.

“I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.”
Philippians 4:11-13
