Silent Night

imageSilent Nights…

Silent storms;
Silent screams;
Silent cries;
Silent words;
Silent thoughts;
Silent prayers…

It is where our roots become so deep in Christ and all that He came for!!!

That silent night became a holy night.
It became a blessed night.
A night of peace, tranquility….serenity.
Everything calm and a still soul.
Thankful, appreciative and reflective.

My roots are in You!
I am built up in You!
That is why I so easily broke…
My roots were NOT deep enough!
Now they are steadfast.
In the silent storms of my life, You met me there when no one else did.
Who or what can come as close as this. Lord there is none but You!

“But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the LORD your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life. Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, And gather you from the west;”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43:1-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

You have gathered to bring together into one group, collection, or place; to bring together or assemble from various places, sources, or people; collect gradually; to serve as a center of attention for; attract; to pick or harvest (any crop or natural yield) from its place of growth or formation; to pick up piece by piece!

You have gathered me! You have picked me up PIECE BY PIECE when I was shattered in every place! There was not one place untouched! Everything was touched, broken, ripped, shredded… For none of that was bringing You glory!

I never want to fail You my Lord!
I live to bring You praise!
I live for You in a life that was never my own.

Now that all was shattered, You could do your best work! In the Potters Hands I go! One year later reflecting on HOW MUCH MORE You matter over all else. Now I know. Now I trust. Now I found a place in You. As Your word declares!

“I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

There is no better place for me.
Thank you Lord! You did it! You rescued me when I was drowning! You went after me when I was running! You gave me life when I felt myself dying! You saved me!

This is just a testimony! I don’t want to be selfish, I just want to share how GREAT YOU ARE and what You have done in me!

I am rooted… Rebuilt!

“Rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Merry Christmas! The silent night was a holy night most certainly! And on this night He did it again, a vision in the night are sweeter than ever…. I have never been this sure. #juschrist4
