The Last Sunday

imageThis is when the last can be made first. Maybe you have never tried church. Maybe you have never read the bible. Maybe you have never prayed that prayer. Maybe you have had too many issues. Maybe you think it is people. Maybe it could be you. Well… maybe today can be your day. Maybe today can change the course of your life. It is simply up to you. This last Sunday of the year can be the start to the greatest days ahead of you.

You don’t have to wait until the clock strikes midnight for twenty sixteen!

You can start something NEW today!

“But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭3:13-14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Today is a new day for us and a new start for the week. It is also good to start off with words of encouragement. This is going to be such a fast paced week as we reflect on everything that has happened this year and also for what is to come. As we try to finish up last minute tasks and still having so much left to accomplish.

There is hope!

If you thought you have been left out. If you thought you have been forgotten. If you thought you didn’t matter or that you had to be the last, begin to rejoice! For God does save the BEST for last! Begin to take your focus off of self, others and circumstances. Fix your eyes on HIM and watch Him move on your behalf.

“But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭19:30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

On this last Sunday of 2015, it shall be a day to remember! A day that became a turning point! A day that you can make a change to something great! A day for new beginnings! This last Sunday can be the first Sunday of your destiny!

God is looking at you. He knows every detail of you even better than you do. Have you tried Him yet? Have you given GOD a chance in your life, your heart and for your direction?

Things don’t have to stay that way. You don’t have to feel defeated, unfulfilled or that you have no other places where you can grow and do something more meaningful with your life!  Today is the first day to your miracles! The first day to success! A day of promising opportunity for a brighter future.  All you need to do is believe that and start by stepping out in faith.

Go to a new place. Visit a place where you can fellowship and hear something impactful. God has a word for you through the pages of the scriptures. He has a place for you to feed and flourish.

Let this last Sunday be your BEST! A start to a promising and great journey. A start to a blessed and fulfilling future for you. He sees, knows and will do all those things to demonstrate His love for you! Happy twenty sixteen on this last Sunday of twenty fifteen. Greater things are on the horizon. Let us all partake!

You have searched me, Lord, and You know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; You perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; You are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue You, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and You lay Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence? If I go up to the heavens, You are there; if I make my bed in the depths, You are there; If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast. Psalm 139:1-10
