Unseared

imageGreat start or tough beginning?
Smooth sailing or rocky roads?
Easy journey or crazy obstacles?

As you continue to pass through it all, you will go unseared. As you walk with the Lord your God, no evil shall befall you. No plague shall come near you. No serpent shall poison you [Psalm 91]. Through any fire, you will not be burned. Just like the three Hebrew young men in the book of Daniel, so shall you be if you stay trusting God.

Stand on His Word. Stand on the precious promises. For daily as you continue to be fierce in your walk, there will be those moments that such will come against you. But be of good courage and be of good cheer, because you shall overcome any obstacle that you face. God is on your side.

To sear is to burn or char the surface of; to mark with a branding iron; to burn or scorch injuriously or painfully; to make callous or unfeeling; harden; to dry up or wither; parch; or a mark or scar made by searing.

Through His word, he is reminding you that you will not be seared or scorched. You will not run dry or wither up. There will be no mark or scar held over you to remind you of your past traumas.

Here are the reminders branded through the Holy Scriptures:

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
Isaiah 43:2

He divided the sea and caused them to pass through, And He made the waters stand up like a heap.
Psalm 78:13

Then the high officers, officials, governors, and advisers crowded around them and saw that the fire had not touched them. Not a hair on their heads was singed, and their clothing was not scorched. They didn’t even smell of smoke!
Daniel 3:27

The bible doesn’t say that we will never pass through it or that this year will be trial free. But it does promise that we will go unseared. We will go untouched. We will go through any situation and come out victorious.

When you pass through the waters–He is with you.
When it gets higher and you pass through the rivers–He is with you. It is not going to drown you.

The gossip won’t drown you, the lies won’t drown you, the bills won’t drown you, the hurt won’t down you, the arguments won’t drown you– stick to the promises! That will elevate you. When you know what God told you! Rest in that great calm.

When you walk through that fire–you will NOT be burned. You are not even going to look like you went through it. You are going to be rejoicing, peaceful, laughing and standing stronger than ever before. This year will be the one that you stand the highest. People will look at you and wonder why you are so filled with the Spirit of joy and they will want what you have.

Many times God will CAUSE you to walk through it just so that all can SEE that you are unharmed by it! That you are even blessed by it! That even for many of what looks like a setback is a set up for God to lift you higher.

As a child of God, He is taking you through. As the problems of life press through ALL, the promises of God are fulfilled through ALL–if you stick to that! Know what God promised you. A victorious life my friend! That is promised for us.

Be thankful and spread the good news of what He is doing in you. Motivate others, even if you feel like you need motivation. Pray for others when you need intercession. Encourage those around you when you feel like you need it too. For as you do all those things you will come to see that God carried you through it all, so that you can share it. You have been unseared.
