Fragile Seasons

Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to Me. Get away with Me and you’ll discover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with Me and work with Me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhymes of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with Me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.

Matthew 11:28-30 The Message Translation

So my answers:

TIRED—YES

WORN OUT—YES

Burned out on religion—uhh YES!

And so He reaffirms His everlasting nearness in the embrace of His arms!

How do you get there if you are weary all the time with work and pressing activities?

It’s tiring!

I am TIRED!

Just tired. Can I just openly state that and it be accepted?

I have been working nonstop since my first job at 18.

Full-time!

I am now 42 and completely worn out in pure exhaustion. Shaving off all forms of anxiety and depression.

During all that there is always an assignment, a task, a meeting. Then another meeting about the meeting and a few loads of emails to follow all that up!

It’s just madness. Insane work. Busyness. Planning. More work. When can I rest FOR REAL!

Like enough rest to say, “OK here is what I can do and what I can’t.”

A weekend doesn’t do it for you.

A quick vacation…week here or a week there doesn’t do it for you.

The long 3 day or 4 day weekends also don’t do it for you.

You know what does it for you?

DETACHMENT! Enough to find yourself.

That does it for you. Especially when you hit those unexpected life-altering fragile seasons of life. That is what I found myself in once again.

How about a break Chris?

Sounds good!

That is OKAY!

So that is what I chose to do for the betterment of my overall health. Body, soul and spirit.

I am ready for this journey. But never could I be further exhausting myself in a fragile season.

Being fragile doesn’t help the fragile moments.

But being well rested, rooted and grounded IN Christ does help through the fragile seasons and unexpected changing moments of life.

Sincerely,

Chrizzy ♥️

I myself personally relate to this message. Tired yea, exhausted yea and definitely worn out and burnt out on “RELIGION”.

Learn the unforced rhymes of “GRACE”. Now that’s where I love to be at all times. That peace, that rest, that walk that just seams as your floating or gliding through without the tiredness that the flesh feels and endures.

Continue to talk real life, as I read as a son In Christ I see God’s way, I feel the warmth of Jesus and I hear the sweet soothing sound of The Holy Spirit.

A Talk, A Deep Conversation To Deep, Amen….
