Forty Rocks!

FORTY ROCKS

Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the ROCK. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it was founded on the ROCK. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.

Family First

Fam First! A Christ Centered Home [Notes by M. Rivera & C. Cruz-Mendez]

Family is important to God, it is important for the Kingdom of God, and it is important for all of God’s purposes.

God has always wanted to use the family, so He instituted in his perfect plan, even before establishing the Church. However, the family has been deteriorating day by day.

This situation is extremely serious. The family is the nucleus [a central part about which other parts are grouped or gathered; core] of society, and if society is not made up of strong families, society cannot be stable and will encounter serious problems. The problem of the family is not only incumbent upon the government and society, but a situation that directly affects the church. God instituted the family to be the model and example for the Church and for society. Churches and strong families form strong partnerships. Family’s united and cohesive societies are churches, etc.  Continue reading

Get Rid of The Chip

seu70You know life is too short to stay mad. I know we get mad but to stay mad, it is just not worth it. We have to learn to let things go. Even when things don’t go your way. You cannot expect people to cater to your every need. That is impossible. Only God can cater to your needs in the most intimate way. Stop putting such a tremendous burden on yourself and others! People are human –they are imperfect beings and they are not gods!!!! LET IT GO… Stop isolating yourself from the world. Stop putting the blame on others. Stop pointing the fingers if you have faults yourself.

EVERYONE HAS FLAWS. Continue reading

New Place, New Space

NoMoreClutter

And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules. You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Ezekiel 36:26-28

All things new! A new heart will require a new place and new space. A time to clear up the clutter and make room for better things. This was a time especially for me and God pursued me. I had so much clutter, blockage and hindrances in my life that I could not see anything that God wanted to give me as new. There was no place or space for Him. I was filled with other things… With other cares and it was consuming me. A new year arrived and God opened my eyes. For as painful as this process was, it was necessary for what God wanted to place in my life. Continue reading
