Sleepless Nights

imageDon’t you just hate when you start that uncomfortable toss and turn in the middle of the night only to find that no matter which way you turn there is no way you are going back to sleep.

YEA! Those sleepless nights, I tell ya!

Maybe it’s issues, maybe it’s business, maybe it’s stress, maybe it’s contemplations, maybe it’s work that has to get done, maybe it’s excitement for what’s to come… in any case how do we fight those sleepless nights? Because we really do need adequate rest to function effectively!

So much to do during the holidays to finalize and tie up loose ends. It is work, work and more work. I want to rest but my mind is fully alert and ready to keep moving. I know God has a plan that is bigger than me… Continue reading

The Fog

imageI was driving to work today and the visibility was terrible. I could just see this BIG FOG. I know I am going in the right direction, for I have taken this route practically everyday for 15 years but based on the looks of it, doesn’t appear so safe. Speed is reduced. We proceed with caution.

Wikipedia states that black is the darkest color, the result of the absence of or complete absorption of light. It is the opposite of white (the combined spectrum of color or light). It is an achromatic color, literally a color without color or hue. It is one of the four primary colors in the CMYK color model, along with cyan, yellow, and magenta, used in color printing to produce all the other colors. [WOW] Continue reading

Falling Forward

imageNot sure if I am the only that feels this way sometimes. One day I feel like that tree that has no leaves, completely bare and stripped. Other days I feel like that oak tree so planted and FILLED with beautiful and colorful leaves. In every case to God, I believe we still light up before Him.

So I am guessing that is how Peter felt when he denied Jesus 3 times and then on the day of Pentecost when he stood up and 3 thousand were added that day! What a way to bounce back!

Peter fell forward! God is good. Continue reading
