Silent Night

imageSilent Nights…

Silent storms;
Silent screams;
Silent cries;
Silent words;
Silent thoughts;
Silent prayers…

It is where our roots become so deep in Christ and all that He came for!!!

That silent night became a holy night.
It became a blessed night.
A night of peace, tranquility….serenity.
Everything calm and a still soul.
Thankful, appreciative and reflective.

My roots are in You!
I am built up in You!
That is why I so easily broke…
My roots were NOT deep enough!
Now they are steadfast.
In the silent storms of my life, You met me there when no one else did.
Who or what can come as close as this. Lord there is none but You! Continue reading

Own Up to Build Up

imageThere comes a time in life when you have to stop blaming others and own up to the things that you did to you. But worry not my friend, just go to God to heal all that. For the brokenness in life is much of what we have caused and allowed to happen. And God is in the business of fixing! Always!

So stop the blame game, own up to it, take responsibility for your actions… Take the focus off of what everyone else did wrong and recognize what you did wrong.
There in itself is your healing and restoration. That is what I recognized this year and not by self, but it was God that had to intervene and say “WAIT! I have to wreck these plans of hers before they wreck HER! For my ways are higher, My thoughts are higher… And I know that the plans that I have for her are RIGHT!” Continue reading

Take It Outside

imageI was running outdoors yesterday evening because I no longer have an indoor gym membership and thought how meaningful things could be when you just take it outside! While running I pass several people, level ground, crisp air…it’s nice! My pace is in full gear, steady breathing and I am passing several people. This one man I pass says to me quickly, “That’s some motivation! You getting ready for the summer!” I laughed… kept running. He says, “I’m about to run with you!”

Don’t worry…I am safe, God is with me.

It is funny how influential we can really be. In everything we do and in every place. But most importantly, how effective we can be in setting an example if we “Take It Outdoors!” Continue reading

Fragile Moments

FragileRockFragile moments actually become powerful movements. Packing in general is fragile! It is emotional! Is such a powerful statement in itself! It says so much… It is a delicate moment, mixed emotions, crazy busy, excitement, expectation… All these things flooding through at once… I felt in my spirit this morning, “Pack just what you need, you can’t take everything but take enough so that you won’t drown moving forward! Sometimes there is NO FORMAL GOODBYE! You just have to go… It is all part of the let go and let God!” Continue reading
