Rebuilt Stone

This is not just about Family, Friends Or Feelings…

Such a bigger purpose. Within my scope and above my scope, God’s got this!

I don’t let one incident define me.
I don’t let these raging “emoticons” of mine have dominion.
I am like that black butterfly… In the darkness, I am always seeking it’s solace through the light.

He caught it. Captured it.
In a simple explanation, there it was clearly depicted. Black stone over gray. A flawed ground that came to light. A stone butterfly was built.

An Infinite Number

imageThere is a serious case in the Bible where the disciples came to Jesus and asked Him, “How many times shall I forgive my brother?” And Jesus said to him, “Up to 70×7!” I translate this in so many ways but what I understand repeatedly is an infinite number.
“Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18:21-22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
You see a lot of times are always asking God the same exact questions over and over again, especially when we don’t see results happening in our lives. So the same way the disciples came to Jesus and asked Him how many times, is the same way we actually go to God and ask Him the same thing too. This becomes an infinite type of situation.

My Darling Daughter

I started an online bible plan today titled, “Beauty Marks” from a mobile app. It shares, “What makes a woman beautiful. To be unbeautiful is demeaning our value as women and as God’s creation. We redeem what beauty really is and learn the kind of beauty that glorifies God.”

What a constant thought for many.

I’m considering this young woman. She was dark, different and devalued. She would not think of herself as beautiful among thousands.

What makes her stand out above the rest?

What makes her matter?

What makes her even considered?

She looks for this one named Solomon. A king, a leader, a lover and a state of art type of man in those days. He had thousands of choice women. What makes her any different. What makes her feel loved? What makes her feel important? What makes her feel beautiful? What makes her remembered? Continue reading
