Baby Bella

imageBaby Bella… I am just flying back home to New York from Florida and all I can think now is, “Wow! What an amazing weekend to spend with our family and also get to meet the new addition to the family… Baby Ezrabella!” She is beautiful indeed and a gift from God. Holding her for the first time was such an experience and an immediate outpouring of love.

Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. (‭Psalms‬ ‭127‬:‭3‬ NKJV) Continue reading

I Have A Partner

partnership-woesI have a partner! Isn’t that amazing.  I am not alone. A lie keeps repeating in my head that I have to cancel out so often and remind myself that I have a permanent partner in life that is never going to leave me or forsake me. We are in this together. God has tremendous plans for us.
1 Peter 5:10, “After Your Season of Suffering, God in all His grace will restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you”.

I am thinking about this “new” concept called HOPE. For some time I really lost that. I lost my hope, my love, my passion, my zest and zeal for life. Restoration sounded impossible. Then I kept going despite all the ill feelings I had. Despite all the work it was taking me to salvage up any life that may have been left. But God was right about one thing mainly (as He is always correct)… He wanted to remind me that I didn’t have to look anymore…that I didn’t have to search…that I didn’t have to try so hard but that it was truly a time for REST in my life! I just needed the right partner. PUSH PAST PAIN

pastpainJohn 16:33, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation [grievous trouble; severe trial or suffering]; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

At first I hurt myself, then I kept going. 18 stations in total and I felt pain at the first one. At each station you will have 50 seconds of work and 30 seconds of rest before switching to the next. Warm up was hard. I felt like my heart was beating out of my chest.  It hurt but I kept on running behind the rest. I stood at my own pace, I didn’t try to outrun anyone. I met the trainer at the stop and he gave us all a high five as we went in to the rooms to then start the intense cardio.  Clearly I could see this was not going to be an easy session.  Continue reading

Celebrate With Someone

Rejoice1Time to Celebrate! Let us rejoice in the Lord! When? Always! Easier said than done, especially when you are put to the test. But the real test is if you are able to celebrate and rejoice with others when you know something is not happening with you. When someone else is celebrating their victory, can you feel and show great delight for them? What about celebrating someone else’s victory such as an engagement, wedding, child birth, new homeowners, graduation, promotion or other exciting experiences that are cause for celebration.  Continue reading
