Outdoors

Overflowing

Hope everyone is able to safely enjoy the outdoors in this fantastic weather we are having. Went walking today up the parkway and didn’t get very far. Fully covered, masked, sort of prepared except I didn’t have my walking sneakers and socks on. By the first mile I already felt the blisters boiling. 😞But I kept on.

We did three miles at least. I will definitely be more prepared for next time! I need to listen. Even with the blisters, gotta keep moving. That’s just the way it is when things don’t always work out in your favor you have to walk it out anyway!!

Heard today by Stella Wariso on “Finding Hope in Community” instead of saying “Why Me“ say “Try Me!” In the face of our adversary & in the face of adversity. Stand encouraged.

As we are to be as bold as ever approaching outdoors. We can walk again. We can run again. We can laugh again. We can love again. We can work again. And lastly… we can succeed again & again & again! Just keep walking toward the goal.

God is taking stuff out and putting stuff in us. So that when we are out there again, we may still get bruised and blistered but we will keep going and growing —stronger than ever before. This is a great season for us to flourish! Inside & outside! Indoors & outdoors. Internally & externally. Internationally & domestically.

Time to bring what we have stored indoors —> OUT!! It is beautiful outdoors! So much opportunity! Let’s get it!! Let’s go!! Let’s try it!!!

“but those who trust in the Lord
will renew their strength;
they will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary;
they will walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31

HELLO WORLD

Hope everyone is adjusting just fine during the big world quarantine due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

So far I have adjusted my home office space about 4 times and now I nailed it! Over the weekend I started a mass project to do an office/gym conversion in the basement and what a task. Well worth it though. Because now I have my own private workspace to concentrate and be as productive as I need to be. The most important thing for me is what I can do in the NOW to be most prepared for what’s NEXT!

That is how we must think when it comes to life altering situations such as this. Take what you have and turn it into something innovative –even if its a trial we have to bring something out of us that allows us to live well. To live so we can thrive right through it.

I am taking the time to worship –reflect –read –relax at the same time as moving when I need to so that I don’t get that sedentary. I have all my supplies gathered here and created an environment that is conducive to work from home. It took a few weeks to get there but I did and I am loving it! ❤

I hope that you are finding a way to adjust in the most productive and beneficial way for the health of you and your family. Keep focused… keep strong and remember this too shall pass. This is only a season for us and as long as we continue to be as productive as we need to be, the next phase of our lives is going to be worth it all.

We are coming out stronger! We are coming out more innovative! We are coming out transformed! We are coming out as conduits of hope, faith and change! We are coming out fully capable! We are going to excel in the marketplace, in our homes, in our ministries and in all that we touch!

This is a time of renewal so that when we come out, we see things in a whole new better way and can gladly and appreciatively say, “HELLO WORLD!” We are here to make a difference and will forge ahead in an exceptional way. We will do things together and better. Stay encouraged. Stay filled with faith, hope and love.

Pursue the greater gifts, and let me tell you of a more excellent way—love.

Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
The Lord executes righteousness
And justice for all who are oppressed.
He made known His ways to Moses,
His acts to the children of Israel.
The Lord is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
He will not always strive with us,
Nor will He keep His anger forever.
He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.
For as the heavens are high above the earth,
So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear Him.
For He knows our frame;
He remembers that we are dust.
As for man, his days are like grass;
As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
For the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
And its place remembers it no more.
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
On those who fear Him,
And His righteousness to children’s children,
To such as keep His covenant,
And to those who remember His commandments to do them.
The Lord has established His throne in heaven,
And His kingdom rules over all.
Bless the Lord, you His angels,
Who excel in strength, who do His word,
Heeding the voice of His word.
Bless the Lord, all you His hosts,
You ministers of His, who do His pleasure.
Bless the Lord, all His works,
In all places of His dominion.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!

Day “I Don’t Know” On Quarantine

I think this is getting to everybody already. I have rearranged my “home office” again and made it more welcoming and work friendly for myself… what can I say. Sometimes we don’t always anticipate for these things to go this way but they do. And when they do, we try our best to do our best. It’s a fight to stay in the fight right?!

So far today it’s a better day –now Good Friday. I think it took me a couple weeks to just put this one blog together. I want to write, then stop, then move over to do something else. I have all these plans of what I want to do but then adjusting to work from home “requisite” status –another impromptu I got to make the most of this.

That said, I am coughing, uncomfortable, getting pimples and eating a whole lot. I tried workout remotely through Zoom this week and I think I blew out my legs and butt muscles! LOL I will see if I can do some walking later because I need to find a much better pace then these crazy radical moves here. I’m just somewhat of a mess is what I can say. On Zyrtec, Allegra D, Robitussin and more…. Lord HELP! Just HELP us all!

We are praying more as a church and I hope that will make things better for us. Praying for as many people impacted by this situation as they say we are now going to be hitting the apex of this crisis in the next couple days! Let’s all just hope for the best –and that this adversity catapult us into our next best season of healing and OFF of quarantine. I think we are ALL learning a lot here. We are all in this together until we get better. ❤
