Dazzling December

IMG_2689You know as time progresses and we are moving forward the enemy is changing his game. He is the one that is becoming extremely strategic. He is shining, attracting and dazzling the people even more. I won’t deny the fact of his display for even the bible says that he was beautiful. I can compliment him certainly but what I will to do is exalt my God over everything. God is ALL-Powerful.

We cannot be deceived. And in this closing year believe me when I say that the enemy is still lurking for a dazzling December. He is going to be quick to try and bring you down. You must be strong.

Dazzle is to overpower or dim the vision of by intense light; to impress deeply or astonish with delight; to shine and effect brilliantly. And the enemy is trying to impress you deeply with his lies…with his FALSE promises and his temporary provision! He is trying to dim your vision and focus with his false light. He is trying to effect you brilliantly with his plan of a mess. If it feels so good, looks so appealing and it feels so right BUT you KNOW that it isn’t any peace from God then get rid of it!

The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him:
‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
“‘You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: carnelian, chrysolite and emerald, topaz, onyx and jasper, lapis lazuli, turquoise and beryl. Your settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created you were prepared. You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you. Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings.'”
Ezekiel 28:11-17

The enemy is filled with nothing but violence. That is why we must be careful for even with the beautiful things that you may think. Look how beautiful the enemy was, covered and layered in all precious stones. Perfect in appearance –there were no flaws on account of his beauty, just more of a glow. How deceiving!

Beauty is TOXIC!

This is the trap to get you smiling but not smiling…
laughing but not laughing; crying but hiding;
painful but pleasing others; sad but trying;
lonely but in an environment;
hurting inside but still trying to keep momentum.
It seems unyielding, never ending, its hold and force so fierce for these are the things when you come up to a reality.

EXACTLY! Perfect…That is his plan, he walks away happy go lucky that you fell prey and there you are WOUNDED and weary! Depleted of strength that you thought you had.

Don’t wallow in that place because it’s plan for you is to swallow and drown you down a well of nothingness. But there is a well of water waiting for us. That is where you need to go like the woman at the well in John 4. It is time for us to reach for it. Stretch out. Don’t stay there. SEEK IMMEDIATE HELP!

If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.
Ecclesiastes 4:10 New Living Translation

You have to give up what you THINK is best in order to receive what God KNOWS is best!!!

You see the thing is that lots of times we do have to wait as God is orchestrating all for the proper timing. We grow impatient. And as we are waiting, here comes the enemy strategically creating something for you that you THINK you need. It’s quick, fast and accessible. Problem is, that it is also very destructive and you don’t realize that on sight. Deception rapidly occurs and you are drawn into a vortex of lies, sin and chaos. What you think is so perfect is actually so poisonous. What you think is so valuable is actually so venomous. What you think is so dazzling…is actually the most dangerous to your soul. He wants destruction to seep in to rip and tear at any chance of eternity that you have. He LOVES to imitate the divine things of life when it is actually just a huge set up for your demise.

The enemy will leave you feeling drained and empty EVERY single time.

BUT GOD will leave you filled and empowered every single time… keep RUNNING to Him. There is nothing wrong with seeking godly help FAST when you are at war! In order to stand stronger–that cannot always be done alone! Don’t fool yourself–call on the cadets! Call on the kingdom generals! Call on the support! Call on the body of Christ to take it to the throne in prayer and immediate assistance!

WHEN YOU GO TO GOD’S THRONE–
THE ENEMY WILL REMAIN DETHRONED!!!

So in this season, when you have come SO FAR! Don’t let the enemy dazzle and dance in front of you anymore! CAST THAT DEVIL OUT OF YOUR PRESENCE! You have the victory. You have the resources. Ask God to fill you up! Ask good friends for support when you feel weary. Spend the time seeking positive things when you feel an onset of negativity coming your way. You don’t have to fall prey….especially when you pray!

God hears you, sees you and will help you through the violent storms of life. That is an eternal promise that will never run empty. You are not going to go through this alone. Don’t be dazzled this December…set the pace to dive into December MORE fervently and triumphantly!
