There is something so comforting about being an ambassador for Christ and a preacher of the gospel. I rest on the promises of God and the Word of the Lord that goes forth. I believe it!
10 Churches of MUI by 2020!
A word rightly spoken over us in the house by apostle, prophet and friend Femi Adun. We all received that and are already rejoicing like it is here!!!
We have an excited batch of people. A remnant of revolutionists. People that are stepping out of the norm in order to live out the cause! The Word is spoken, it is shared and it starts with us.
He brought me into a spacious place;
He rescued me because He delighted in me.
Psalm 18:19
David was in a time of war when he wrote those words. He was not physically in a spacious place but he was in several rough patches and dangerous places of war. Yet he was thanking God beforehand that he was rescued and brought into a spacious place. King David knew who he was. He knew the calling and the promise. He never deterred from that. Even though it didn’t look like a spacious place. Even though it didn’t feel like a spacious place. And even though it didn’t sound like a spacious place–he confessed it and celebrated where he was. So David found himself in a spacious place.
Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt. The Word was proclaimed over their lives. But what ended up happening was the three day journey became a war in a forty year journey. Totally unexpected outcome as a result of serious grumbling, complaining, fear and doubt.
The Proclaimed Promise
The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them.
Exodus 3:7-9
God sees the misery of His people. God’s plan NEVER intends to leave you in that place. In Psalm 56:8 it says, “all your tears are recorded.” So with God, there is never a plan B. We take ourselves to alternate places and detours because of our complaining, grumbling and doubt. They made three days turn into forty years. Imagine–but thank God that the forty-first year finally did arrive for them. They finally celebrated.
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. When the Lord your God brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you—a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build, houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant—then when you eat and are satisfied, be careful that you do not forget the Lord, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
Deuteronomy 6:4-12
The bible tells us to write it down, walk it out and wear it! Focus on the promises of God! Not the problems!
I don’t want to forget. What do I do when I wake?
We keep talking, writing, walking and wearing our problem. We constantly remind ourselves and others of our problem!
They left me!
I’m broke!
I’m depressed!
I’m in the worst relationship!
I’m sick!
We confess the problems repeatedly over our own lives! Thus, the three day (allowable time to grieve) turns into a forty year loop. There is a time for everything, cry–then wipe your tears and STAND UP and ON the promises of God. Don’t stay in a dark place. Don’t stay in a desolate place. Get rid of the pity parties and the pity partners and search for a praise party and a prayer partner! You need folks of faith in your life.
It is time to celebrate. Don’t wallow in the misery. God sees all that and will take you to that spacious place…so receive that and rejoice in it as it is here! The more you rejoice the faster it shall come. It will be your forty-first year in the promised land.
If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God: You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country…
Deuteronomy 28:1-3
Now confess it! Believe it! Speak it! 10 Churches!
Resist any negative thinking and be more optimistic. Focus on your faith rather than your fears. Focus on your promises rather than your problems. Focus on your God rather than your enemy. So no matter how you feel, stand firm on God’s word because that is sovereign. Get in agreement with God and let go of all else.
