Focusing Beyond

OPEN UP OUR EYES TO SEE! That is a strong prayer, often left by the wayside. I see this now.

I left a lot of things in life because I could not see beyond.

All because of a broken focus.

Broken is when something isn’t functioning properly, but we have been given the ability to see clearly.
Some things are sent our way to cause a fog and if we are not careful…If we are not connected to our Lord, then those darts and arrows will work to BREAK our focus!

FAILURE IS BROKEN FOCUS!!!

But the SPIRIT of God was given to us;
For what? TO BREAK… What?
EVERY YOKE!
TO BREAK WHAT TRIES TO BREAK US!

His last prophetic words to us was, “This is a MEGA-Church. In a short time, you will see that.”

There is only ONE course for me.
Any other course, only causes me to stumble.

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,

Jesus knew what was going to happen. In this text, there is only one full stop… The rest is followed by commas and colons.

“And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him, Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles: And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.”

Focusing Beyond!

Focusing: using available light in order to SEE CLEARLY.
Beyond: something above or ahead of the other.

Seeing CLEARLY what is AHEAD!

If you have ability to see, don’t despise what you see. Even when those things are small. This is exactly where God moves and does mighty things.

Preaching to the blind (spiritually) is a WASTE OF YOUR TIME!!!

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The way he saw that problem is the problem!!
How do you see it?
A lot of crying going on because the spiritual eyes are closed

A lot of people in church with “no friends.”
Who’s problem is that? Why is that? EYES!

If you look at things differently you will live a different life.
If you look at things positively you will live a positive life.

AMEN!

What is your focus?
Spiritual eyes must be opened.

Feel better – don’t waste your time!
Focus Beyond The Cross!

Because of the resurrection– I don’t fear what they will do to me.

What you see now is your weapon!!!

If I see greater, I won’t care about the lesser.

Jacob told Joseph not to share his dreams because of the haters!
But I tell you to share your dreams because of the haters!!!
You have GOT to have enemies!
Tell them.

PUT A COMMA AND MOVE ON!!!

Jesus on the cross in the middle of his pain cried out,
“Forgive them, for they know not what they do.”

I know what I do…
What they are doing?
When you know what they don’t know, it is very easy to forgive.

Key in forgiveness is knowing what they do not.

Because He came out alive, there was nothing to keep him down again.

Sub-Topics
1. When Jesus was still in the grave, enemies were standing outside the grave, God sent an earthquake. God is going to put down all your enemies. God is lifting you above your enemies. God is lifting you in every area of your life.
2. When Jesus died, the people who put Him in were not the same people who took him out. STOP waiting for people who put you down to lift you back up!!!!! Doesn’t matter who closed the door, look as God opens the door another way.
3. People who put the stone at the grave site for Jesus –were more than 20 muscular men that rolled it. Resurrection– the stone was removed by 1 man. God will send 1 to do the job of many. Just 1 man or woman to do the work of 20.
4. The cloth Jesus was buried with, was left in the grave. Jesus came out dressed in new garment of glory. This speaks to identity, favor and new STANDARDS.
5. Stone was not rolled away to get Jesus passed. He was already dressed up in glory, had the ability to walk right through it. We witness that the tomb is empty for TESTIMONY. He could have walked through the stone!
6. Enemies of Jesus were the first to testify of Jesus’ resurrection. FIRST PEOPLE …. ENEMIES WILL HELP ANNOUNCE WHAT GOD HAS DONE IN YOUR LIFE. Everything will come to pass.

Stress is actually helping you achieve your greatness.
Pay the price.
He won’t lift you up unless you have proved your worthy of it.
When you pass the test you get your license.
If you failed the test, you will never be permitted.
The test is only to permit you to be in an office gift.
NEVER LOOK AT THIS NEGATIVELY!

Don’t fret if you failed on a test or even multiple tests… study HARDER for the next time and rest assured you will PASS! Put on the whole armor of God.

Try it again! Just with sharp vision this time! We have to focus beyond what we see now and see what God has promised us, surely it will come to pass.
