We must discover that more and more in doing “SOMETHING” that it matters.
Oh! It matters! It really does. It makes a difference.
There are colors of faith, hope and of love.
God is for us.
We live and we learn.
Teach us to love again.
Teach us to love more.
For love is love, that isn’t always a mistake.
If you loved well, then you did with all of you… you did.
You smiled, you laughed, you breathed in this love.
Not hate, not deception and not just lust, when it is your heart.
Love is breathed in and it is good.
We live, we love and sometimes we crash.
But we rise again!
You have to believe that.
On the BEST day, we can fall.
In the fall it could be forward, backward or sideways.
Just about in every direction.
Another shattered moment, it becomes.
But this doesn’t mean that it is over.
There are other colors in life, not just black.
And not just white but colors!
Colors are surrounding us, a whole array of them.
Lead us to see the colors.
Lots of colors – let’s draw.
Time to invent;
Let’s do this.
Open wide those gates of heaven so that our hearts are filled as we surrender!
It is not just black and white. There are colors!
And a whole lot of them.
The broken crayons still color.
It is not over for Crayola and neither is it for us!
Weeping may linger for the night, but joy comes with the morning…
You have…. clothed me with joy, so that my soul may praise you and not be silent.
Psalm 30:5, 11-12
God when I’m sad, I love how you sit in the silence with me, just being there with your comforting presence surrounding me and easing my sorrow. It makes it easier for me to let go of my sorrow and accept the joy that you want me to have. you never push nor chide. Thank you for your gentleness and for the hope you always hold out to me. When I am done crying, I know you will be there to help me laugh again.
My Personal Daily Prayer Book: April 25
By Christine Dallman, Margaret Anne Huffman
There is a day that there is no more sorrow [distress caused by loss, affliction or disappointment]. It happens for us. Joy [emotion of great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good or satisfying] is promised to us–through all the other colors of life. Don’t stay stuck in just “black” or “white” when there is so much more.
