She Can Never Lose Sight

What keeps me going is focusing on the VISION!

I know that recovery takes time. For the mind, body, soul and spirit.

“The doctor says” two weeks, four weeks  or months.

A psychologist can say it takes years for mental recovery.

What does the word of God say for any type? That is sovereign over my circumstances! Focus on the prize! Focus on Jesus!

FOCUS! FOCUS! FOCUS!

I am set to follow one course until successful!

Wow! Do you see how The Message translation says this:

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!
Hebrews 12:1-3

So this is how I do it. I read. I write. I focus on this until I know that I will become successful in the ways that God has fully purposed for me.

Pioneers blazed the way for us!

They NEVER QUIT!

I have to study how successful ones have done it –starting with JESUS!

HE NEVER LOST SIGHT!

Never lost sight of where he was headed.

Purpose: The Cross!

“I gotta get to the cross for my Father! I gotta get to the cross to fulfill my destiny. They need me. They need my action. They need this redemption. They need freedom. They need LIFE!!!”

Could these be some type of thoughts that Jesus had?

That could be close. All I know is that He made it.

They made it. So many men and women of God were successful in their tasks. Like the Queen of Sheba in 1 Kings Chapter 10. She sought out to seek this man for KNOWLEDGE! That she got! Nothing less than that. And nothing sidetracked her from that purpose. She gains a relationship with the God he served. As beautiful, talented, rich and prestigious this man was–she wasn’t there for ANY OTHER REASON!

FOCUSED!

And so shall I be. I live to preach this Word that I follow, that I believe and that I trust will carry me through until my last breath.

I want to be a woman of my word. A woman of integrity and influence. I want to make an uncommon difference.

I want to be the one that made it! The woman who never lost sight! I will press towards the prize….that upward call to Him.

 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
