Into The Deep Grace of God

I started out this morning on a Facebook live video for the first time sharing a quick reflection that the Lord placed in my heart. How much grace we have from God–it is a GIFT!

You know sometimes people don’t accept gifts. They refuse, dislike, deny, re-gift or try to give them back to the giver.

Why do that? It is a GIFT! Which is the same way God has given us a deeper gift of grace that is beyond the surface. It cancels out all the history, the shame, the guilt, the pain and all the other darkness you could have found in your life. Places where you needed redemption! Saving! That is where He comes in with the best gift–His Son Jesus.

No matter how much sin there is in this world–there is more grace!

But where sin increased, grace increased all the more.
Romans 5:20

I shared a little repugnant tail I guess–of an ingrown hair I had on my chin. I tried yanking it out with tweezers for like 10 minutes irritating my skin. Finally I couldn’t take it anymore–I had to get this annoying thing OUT! I told my son–go get a needle from Nanny! I used this needle to further dig out this one hair that was dug deep in my skin beyond the surface.

After piercing the skin and pulling it out to make it visible–now the tweezers caught it and viola! Whew! How annoying that thing was.

I know it is nasty but that is how deep seated sin is. That is how hidden pain is. That is how covered secrets are. Just like that annoying little hair. You think these things are not seen –but they are FELT! They are present!

So how do we remove it ourselves? We need help! That is where the savior comes in and that is what He did for us. By His grace- we are saved, forgiven, redeemed and brought back to freedom!

That is where I come in to share. I feel like I tasted this nastiness of life so that I can tell the world as well–there is hope! There is GRACE! It goes bone deep and beyond the surface to clean up the things we could never get to or fix on our own.

Does that make sense?

So stop dancing around and entertaining guilt and shame when there is MORE grace. Dance around in your freedom and liberty because Jesus paid the price for all. Live a new life of victory and wholeness.

I came from a very dark past. And when I came to the church, instead of things coming into the light, it even got darker! To the point that I was destroying myself and everyone around me.

Then I collided with this GRACE! I met JESUS at a bone deep encounter retreat that turned my whole life around. I was brought into the deep grace of God. Now I live here. I live free, new and REBUILT!
