All The Covers

I am always reflecting on just how much I need God in my life. How much I need Him as my cover. I was walking today and thought wow women always seem to have some sort of heart issue the most. Yet I reflect on how the Psalmist wrote in Psalm 23:1, “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not be in want.” For if he had the Lord present with him through his life, why should he have a “want”.  He is covered in every way. All the covers we need to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Everyone has this matter of the heart. We need a cover.

Little by Little and Bit By Bit

shoreI was watching this family of 6 at the beach this weekend. Wow! What a task but they appeared to have a good control system with 4 kids and one on the way. The mom took the boy, who appeared to be the youngest and the dad was watching the other three girls at once as they ranged in age about 2 to 4 years old. The girls obviously loved running into the water with the waves taking them. They knew daddy was close by and kept running back and forth into the water. What amazed me was the control he kept over the three of them. He was tall with long legs and arms, able to quickly stretch and grab each of them in perfect timing before the wave could carry them away.  I thought to myself –this is how God is with all of His children. No matter how many on this earth, He has got complete control over the situation of us all. Continue reading

Cast Down The Argument

imageWe have to cast down every argument and begin to get in agreement with God.

Cast down the ARGUMENTS!

The enemy loves to debate in your mind…
And he will CONTINUE until YOU AGREE with his point of view …..
“Don’t go to church, they are hypocrites there… Don’t bother with that person they are fake…. Stay away from those people… Just go and have fun, life is short…why waste your time in church!”

But everyone is just like YOU… A human flawed vessel that needs God to BREAK and CHANGE you! To BREAK the yokes of bondage! Tears don’t change you. The Spirit of God changes you. Being broken will change you. It is time to BREAK the lies of the devil! You have to CANCEL out the lies that happen in your head that you feed and get in AGREEMENT with God and His point of view.

This is how He rebuilds you. He changes everything, how you think, how you feel, what you do, what you say and all your other priorities in life–that all changes.

Aside From Anger

AngerMGMTDealing with anger issues? Short-fused? Quick to fly off the handle? Well we all have those moments. In traffic, a heated discussion with someone, being hurt by someone you care about or just when things don’t go your way. We experience a loss of control…and then blow up! It is done, the milk has spilled! This is something we need to bring under subjection. We have to move aside from anger because all that it does is cause us danger.

We experience anger in so many avenues. Anger with others, with ourselves and sometimes even with God! Can we even overcome this? Yes we can! There is a way to move aside from anger and reach a place of consistent peace. You just need to want it. Continue reading
