Bleary Eyed

Wow, a man 120 years old and never lost his vision. Vision is vital, both physically and spiritually. You need sharp vision to function effectively. Otherwise it will be more of a struggle.
Bleary exists. Dictionary.com defines bleary as:
  1. (of the eyes or sight) blurred or dimmed, as from sleep or weariness.
  2. indistinct; unclear: The day begins with a bleary view of one’s world.
  3. fatigued; worn-out.

The Buckle Hurts

beltbuckleI think this will make sense to a lot of people, although this can be a bit humorous. Have you ever worn fitted pants to start your day… after even having that first meal now the pants are more than tight, so much so that the buckle hurts and is leaving a mark. You can’t wait to let loose and get out of those pants because they are hurting you!

Well most will hate to admit but you will have to do one of two things…

Get a bigger size or just get back in shape!
Either way, it is just an indicator that change is necessary. When you feel the pressure start to hurt…
CHANGE IS NECESSARY!

Prince of Peace

PrinceOfPeaceAs a writer God has given me words of depth, boldness, precision and transparency. When I needed my breakthrough, I wrote. When I had to pour out, I wrote. Whenever I feel that unction…I write. So many words that come to my mind and so I wish I could explain more. Sometimes I wonder even if the words are really understood the way that I know them. Words tied to my soul. Every word released with such weight.

My heart is overflowing with a good theme;
I recite my composition concerning the King;
My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
Psalm 45:1

But as I listened to this song today for the first time, I could say these can be the most profound words that adequately describe my situation. Very much heartfelt lyrics and to the core of me. These make for such deep silent prayers that are recorded in heaven. God is watching down on us to bring us in sync. For a world divided, shattered lives and a fight to stay alive. This is the time we live in, yet with God giving us His Son (the Prince of Peace) we are able to endure it all valiantly and triumphantly.   Continue reading

VIPDo you know how awesome it is to be a VIP or have VIP privileges? This is a great feeling! This means you are first for almost everything.

This automatically puts you in an elite status. This makes you a Very Important Person. This gives you exclusive access that others don’t have. Entrance, special permission and rights to a place or thing.

Wikipedia states, “A very important person (VIP) is a person who is accorded special privileges due to his or her status or importance. Examples include celebrities, heads of state or heads of government, other politicians, major employers, high rollers, high-level corporate officers, wealthy individuals, or any other notable person who receives special treatment for any reason. The special treatment usually involves separation from common people, and a higher level of comfort or service. In some cases such as with tickets, VIP may be used as a title in a similar way to premium. These “VIP tickets” can be purchased by anyone, but still meaning separation from other customers, own security checks etc. Continue reading
