A Friend Loves

A Friend Loves At All Times

I love that scripture, it bears so much truth…

Friends never change with each other
They grow with each other
Time is meaningful, always worthwhile
There is never envy, but rejoicing within
Your never afraid to be yourself
You share what’s on your heart
Trust is present and never any doubt
When they speak you learn even more
They teach you something valuable
Time passes so quick when your with them
Because your not mindful of your clock
Boredom doesn’t exist ever because there is always something to share
Even silence is golden
Just sharing one by one
If time has passed between them it never hinders the friendship
Smiles are exchanged
Love is always present
They encourage one another
And they are not afraid to be weaker
For words to uplift will always spill through

I have very few of these and they know who they are. They are my family, they spent years learning of me, they never judged me in anyway or spread any evil word. They supported me throughout my life and I am forever grateful. They called me a friend and showed me that they meant it. It is not a relationship where I only give, for even if I couldn’t they understood that all the more. They gave to me more and more than I could expect. They stood in the gap for me, prayed for me, warred with me, knew all my ups and downs and kept it just for us. That is the friend that is so lifelong. The work that is cultivated goes for us all. We all give and we all take, there is more every time and nothing less than that.

They don’t lie to me. They don’t get mad at me like that. They don’t feel threatened by me or have to compete. Why would they if they are my friend, for it is iron that sharpens iron [Proverbs 27:17]. I will never forget the conversations, the times they heard me cry, share or vent. The times I felt like giving up, for all they could tell me was keep moving, keep believing. Oh for when my heart was heavy they felt it too. A shared pain not only for me to bear. They took the time through all that too. They heard me laugh. They know my story… Nothing is hidden because I know I can tell it. I also know their story for they also shared with me. To encourage me and let me know, they needed me as well.

I counted them by hand, yes only just a few…
Thank you!!!
Thank you for giving me FAITH!
Thank you for giving me HOPE!
Thank you for giving me LOVE!
For when I thought those things could never exist again… You pointed me back to the one who could give it.

You helped lead me back to GOD!!!

So I will never forget.
If you got this personally, then you know that it was you.
