Seasons Of Change

Seasons of ChangeSeasonsOfLife

Goodbye summer.
We will miss you.
Fall is approaching.

We are in the remains of our summer to enjoy while it lasts. With the busyness of returning from a holiday weekend as the kids are going back to school, we are savoring up all the last moments of blissful days and awesome rays! As for me, this has been an amazing summer! I got to explore beautiful places and spend a lot of quality time with family and friends.

This is how the clock works. We go from season to season and get to experience all. Same thing for the things of God. He has seasons for us as well. Continue reading

Construction

under-construction

There are destinations in life where there is really only one way to get there without having to go through an off trail.

Driving down a long yet necessary trip by myself to Ohio left a lot of time to reflect. I passed through many areas that were “Under Construction” and they do not close off the road. Even so they wait for the darkest hours to get the work on the road done… And still they do not close off the road. People have to pass through. It is necessary, this is the only way to go. For us… there is a great big plan that He has of an improved and healthy life!

A Man Like This

I-DO-Marriage-SeriesMatters of the Woman’s Heart…

Sometimes we make mistakes, not sure what else to do…especially when it comes to relationships.

Many women struggle in this area. They have been hurt by men…even starting from the first one that was supposed to be the primary example.

We go all in with our heart…only to break it. Then everything dies…our hope, faith, trust and most importantly, our LOVE!

We don’t know how to respond, so we close up.

One thing I know is that there are good men of God out there. As a married woman of God at the age of 40 I may not have had all the experience in the world but I can share some things with you…HE EXISTS! Continue reading

Daddy’s Little Girl

imageMaybe I didn’t have the wedding of the century.

Maybe you weren’t there to walk me down the aisle.

Maybe you weren’t there to see my first child born…or then the next.

Maybe you weren’t there for graduation.

Maybe you weren’t there for prom.

Maybe you weren’t there for my first fall or my first job.

Maybe you weren’t there for it all.

Maybe none of that ever matters, just as long as I am here for you now.

I battled with the thought to come here. For a major life turning procedure. It is so hard to turn the tables of a schedule. Yet waking up I could feel something so unsettling in me and I wasn’t sure what that was. So here I am now, moved heaven and earth’s schedule to be a part of this moment. Because it mattered. It mattered that much. I know I did the right thing. Continue reading
